Randers reports bankrupt firm’s sister company

On Thursday, Randers Municipality filed five new police reports related to a landslide on the property where the soil cleaning company Nordic Waste operated. Previously, the municipality had reported Nordic Waste for violations of environmental laws. Now, municipal director Jesper Kaas Schmidt states that DSH Recycling, a sister company to Nordic Waste and a subsidiary of DSH Environment, has also been reported for breaching environmental and watercourse laws. Schmidt emphasized the seriousness of the offenses and warned of further reports if needed. While not specifying the details of the complaints, Schmidt acknowledged that DSH Recycling is believed to bear the operational responsibility, prompted by a review of the ownership between the two companies. DSH Recycling was declared bankrupt on Tuesday by the Court in Randers.
