UK’s King Charles diagnosed with cancer

Britain’s King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday according to BBC and Sky News. Starting his treatment on the same day, the palace advised the 75-year-old king to cancel all public duties during his treatment. Prince Harry is planning to travel from the USA to the UK to visit his father. The type of cancer has not been disclosed, however, it is confirmed to not be prostate cancer, even though King Charles recently underwent prostate surgery. The king remains optimistic about his treatment and intends to return to public service as soon as possible. The diagnosis was shared to prevent speculation and raise public awareness about cancer. The British government has been informed, and Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wishes the king a speedy recovery.
