Trump Triumphs in New Hampshire
Donald Trump has secured a victory in the New Hampshire Republican primary, cementing his front-runner status in the race to challenge President Biden in the upcoming election. Despite losing, Nikki Haley, Trump’s remaining rival, is steadfast in her campaign, pledging to continue and urging a debate with Trump. As it stands, with 73% of votes counted, Trump received 54.3% and Haley garnered 43.6%. Haley’s strategy to win over independent voters in New Hampshire fell short, and despite her impending push to fight on until ‘Super Tuesday,’ some GOP voices may call for her to bow out. Meanwhile, Trump has issued sharp critiques against Haley via his platform Truth Social. Their next head-to-head battle will be in Haley’s birthplace and former governorship state, South Carolina, where Trump has already rallied significant Republican support.
