“Danish police collaborate abroad on Ishøj man terror case.”
Danish police await responses from foreign authorities in a case where a 29-year-old man from Ishøj is charged with promoting far-right extremist terrorism. A court session in the Eastern High Court decided on Thursday to continue his detention amid unresolved questions and awaited answers from various foreign authorities, according to special prosecutor Bo Bjerregaard. The man denies the charges, but details of his explanation remain unknown as press access was restricted. The man was arrested on December 9 following a prolonged investigation by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET) and is accused of sharing extremist propaganda and promoting Terrorgram. The High Court upheld his detention for the sake of prosecution. Terror threats from far-right extremists in Denmark remain at level three out of five, according to a report by the Center for Terror Analysis.
