Orchestra director Andreas Vetö resigns
Andreas Vetö is stepping down as the director of the Danish Entertainment Orchestra following allegations of inappropriate conduct. He confirmed his resignation on LinkedIn, expressing regret for his mistakes and his intent to learn from them. Vetö has faced criticism in the past, with employees complaining about his behavior, as reported by Berlingske. Politiken has also revealed an incident involving inappropriate text messages sent to an employee who had requested him not to contact her privately. Vetö, 38, has helmed the orchestra since 2017 and has previously worked with the Odense Symphony Orchestra, DR Big Band, and Tivoli Copenhagen Phil.
