Vanopslagh admits to campaign errors, pledges to listen

Alex Vanopslagh, leader of the Liberal Alliance, acknowledges mistakes made during the EU election campaign and expresses a willingness to learn from them. The political leader’s comments come after the party’s youth wing criticized it for displaying a biased view of women, potentially alienating female voters. EU candidate Mads Strange’s remarks about gender differences, particularly in chess, sparked criticism. Vanopslagh disagrees with the relevance of discussing why men perform better in chess, stating such debates distract from more important issues like improving the military through voluntarism. Vanopslagh is open to feedback from the youth wing and admits the party failed to realize its full potential, securing only seven percent of the votes.
