Evidence found in car after fatal crash in Aarhus
Following a fatal car crash on Hasle Ringvej in Aarhus where a 30-year-old man died, a 24-year-old driver was arraigned in court in absentia due to ‘objective findings’ in the wrecked vehicle, as shared by the East Jutland Police in their Sunday morning report. The specific nature of the findings has not been disclosed by the police. The presiding judge at Saturday’s court session maintained the driver’s arrest for three days, allowing for further investigation. The 24-year-old, hospitalized since the accident reported at 05:08 on Saturday, must be presented in court by Tuesday if the prosecutor seeks to extend his detention. The young man undergoes a blood test to determine if he was intoxicated during the incident, with results still pending. The deceased’s family has been notified.
