Demant’s growth led by hearing clinics
Danish sound company Demant has achieved a Q3 turnover of 5.4 billion kroner, spurred by its Hearing Care division, which includes thousands of clinics worldwide. This sector’s revenue reached 2.4 billion kroner, a 7% increase from the previous year. On the other hand, the Hearing Aids business saw a 1% dip in turnover, impacted by strong past performance and rising competition, in addition to generally sluggish markets across both Hearing Aids and Diagnostics. Despite these challenges, CEO Søren Nielsen remains focused on fulfilling annual projections and aiding those with hearing impairment. The company continues to expect an organic growth of 2-4% for the year.
