Even though the price of electricity transportation is being reduced, it is still worth remembering good power saving habits. These include, among other things, avoiding as much as possible preheating the oven when cooking, and turning it off five to ten minutes before the food is done on the stove and in the oven, to utilise the residual heat. 1.8 million Danes get teduced electricity bills
Electricity bills for 1.8 million customers in Denmark will decrease starting Sunday. Radius is cutting transmission costs for about one million residents in the capital area, and N1 is reducing tariffs for around 800,000 households and businesses in Jutland, DR reports. This markdown is part of several reductions by Radius over two years wherein a typical apartment will save approximately DKK 150 and an average house DKK 250 annually. N1 states a 59% net tariff cut for December, saving families DKK 130 on average, with a further 21% drop in 2025. Despite the reductions, consumers are urged to maintain energy-saving habits as costs vary throughout the day and can further lower bills and benefit the grid’s load management.
