Aller Media announces new layoffs amid revenue dip

Aller Media is facing reductions due to a digitalization strategy, leading to another significant round of layoffs with 32 employees losing their jobs. This follows a previous round in November. The company will also cease the print edition of ‘Psykolog’ magazine, continuing it only online as part of femina.dk. The restructuring is in response to a changing market and a slowdown in the advertising sector. CEO Charlotte Riparbelli admits the challenge of monetizing digital content like podcasts and videos. The cuts affect a broad range of positions in the media house. Earlier in November, it was reported that Aller Media had discontinued several print magazines and terminated a 15-year license to publish Elle, moving Femina to online only and completely shutting down ‘Antik og Auktion’.
