Astronaut Andreas Mogensen’s first greetings from Earth

Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen has returned to Earth after a six-month space mission and expressed gratitude for the journey in a social media post. Mogensen thanked those who made his journey possible, including crew-support, engineers, scientists, and his Crew 7 members—Jasmin, Satoshi, and Konstantin. He also thanked the European Space Agency (ESA). During his mission that started on August 26, Mogensen participated in ten different experiments, including taking pictures of thunderstorms from space. He has communicated several times with Earth throughout his journey, especially with Denmark, and appreciates the messages received from around the world. After a 19-hour journey back, he now faces medical checks and is readjusting to gravity, which feels ‘a bit strange’ after such a long time without it.
