Danish managers threatened with prison
The Russian security service FSB has threatened heads of Danish companies in Russia with imprisonment, according to three sources with many years of experience from the Russian business community in Berlingske. “We know that at least four Danish companies have received friendly visits or have been called to a meeting with the FSB – where the Russian side has tried to say clearly what they could accept,” Aage V. Nielsen told Berlingske. Nielsen is former vice-chairman of the Danish Business Club organisation in Moscow and board member of the Association of European Business. Two senior executives from Carlsberg’s Russian subsidiary Baltika were arrested in November. /ritzau/
