Sunset Boulevard hits record sales third year in a row

Danish fast food chain Sunset Boulevard reports a third consecutive year of record sales with a pre-tax profit of 29.6 million Danish kroner. The turnover in its 50 restaurants, including three in Greenland and one in the Faroe Islands, increased by 27%, building on the previous year’s 25% growth. CEO Jens Broch is satisfied with the average growth exceeding 25% in a competitive market and sees it as a good foundation for 2024. Notably, the chain experienced a 17% rise in customer visits and an increase in guest satisfaction. Plans are also underway to expand to Norway, with an imminent opening in Germany and 3-4 new locations in Denmark. The chain, which employs 1,500 people and was established in Odense in 1996, is owned by Jeppe Droob from Esbjerg.
