Eastern High Court evacuated due to bomb threat
On Monday morning, the Eastern High Court in Copenhagen was evacuated following a report of a bomb threat. Police first announced the evacuation around 10:30 am. By noon, the police completed their search of the building located in Copenhagen’s North Harbor district and found nothing suspicious. The area’s cordons were being lifted gradually, with the investigation ongoing. According to the police statement to Ritzau, the bomb threat was received via a phone call, similar to a previous threat on April 26, leading to an evacuation. Police could not yet determine if the two threats were related. Different legal proceedings were scheduled in the building for Monday, including two in the morning and one later in the day.
