Ellemann calls for his role in Israeli artillery case to be studied

When the case of the billion-kroner purchase of artillery from the Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit is to be investigated, the role of Jakob Ellemann-Jensen should also be investigated, according to the former defence minister and current economy minister at a press conference Thursday. “I also think that my own actions in this should be investigated,” he said when asked by Ekstra Bladet about the matter. He has previously declined to answer whether he should be investigated. According to Ellemann-Jensen, “the case stinks like crazy” and he himself has not been able to make heads or tails of the information he received from his department. /ritzau/
