Jyllands-Posten: Media is whining over potential ombudsman

Media executives wail about the new ombudsman. It’s state-run! Oh no, does the rule of law also apply to media? It’s as if the media bosses confuse press freedom with lack of accountability. The biggest threat to the role of media in Danish democracy is not a media ombudsman, but the media’s own self-righteousness.
