Defense minister in shocking traffic mishap
Danish defense minister Troels Lund Poulsen and his chauffeur were involved in a traffic accident Thursday evening. Both are well under the circumstances. The incident occurred around 11 PM on the way home, with the ministerial car ending up in a ditch; the location is unspecified. Consequently, Poulsen canceled some of Friday’s meetings and expressed shock on Facebook, especially for his hospitalized driver. Poulsen should have attended a meeting discussing Ukraine’s situation amid Russian invasion. The police confirmed the incident in Holbæk Municipality without personal injury, and there was insignificant material damage. Poulsen, who resides in Tølløse and uses a 2021 Audi A8, was unharmed and quickly sought assistance after the incident.
