YouSee raises TV package prices
YouSee has announced price hikes for its TV packages, affecting around 900,000 customers, with a monthly increase ranging from 20 to 50 kroner due to more expensive sports content rights, reports B.T. The CEO, Christian Morgan, explained that maintaining important channels and sports events requires these increases; larger packages will be more impacted. The yearly cost will go up by 240 to 600 kroner. Fixed telephony and internet via fixed line services will also become more expensive, by 40 and 20 kroner respectively. YouSee has ceased offering new fixed network subscriptions ahead of the planned 2030 shutdown of the copper network. Despite these changes, prices for YouSee Play streaming service will stay the same. YouSee operates under Nuuday, a branch formed after the former TDC was split.
