Crown Prince to serve in army come february

Crown Prince Christian of Denmark is preparing to return home after his stay in East Africa and looks forward to fulfilling his military service at the Guard Hussar Regiment in Slagelse starting February, a post on the royal Instagram account details. During his time in East Africa, he worked in a nature reserve, engaging in conservation, including tagging and monitoring animals, and even helped build houses for staff. The Prince will soon be back to spend Christmas with his family, as the royal household announced a royal family gathering at Marselisborg in Aarhus. It is a tradition for royal family members to serve in the military reflecting his great-grandfather, Frederik IX who became a rear admiral and his father and uncle, who have also completed military educations.
