Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen is set to visit China from May 17 to 19, confirmed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his visit, he will meet China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Trade Minister Wang Wentao. The visit occurs amidst global economic issues like tariffs and trade wars. Rasmussen emphasized Denmark’s strategic interest in strong relations with China and discussing global challenges like climate change. An eight-company Danish business delegation will accompany him to visit Danish subsidiaries in China. The visit also marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and China.
