Multiple plotters behind embassy grenade attack
Unknown perpetrators were involved in planning the grenade attack on the Israeli embassy in early October, according to special prosecutor Søren Harbo. A 17-year-old Swedish boy has voluntarily extended his pre-trial detention by 14 days, while a 20-year-old Swede, also accused of terrorism, had his detention extended after a brief court session. Both deny their guilt. A 50-year-old man also suspected in the incident is accused of providing money to one of the youths before the attack occurred. The court hearings are conducted behind closed doors due to the ongoing threat of accomplices at large and the sensitive nature of the terrorism case. No injuries were reported from the explosions caused by the grenades, which landed on a nearby roof terrace, not reaching the embassy grounds.
