Funen Station Often Missed by DSB Trains

Langeskov Station in Funen was bypassed 11 times by DSB trains last year, despite this being a small fraction of the station’s 14,600 annual stops, reports TV 2 Fyn. The issue has persisted since the station’s re-opening in 2015. Human error is cited as the cause. Anne Fiber of Langeskov Commuter Club has experienced being left on the platform. She mentions the inconvenience, especially with children. DSB usually rectifies the situation by arranging for the next train to make an unscheduled stop. The company is actively working to reduce such errors, with individual interviews for drivers who miss stops to prevent future occurrences. Similar incidents have also occurred at Middelfart Station and other smaller stations across the country.
