Suspected knife attacker at school surrenders

The individual suspected of a knife attack on a 20-year-old man at an FGU-educational institution in Kastrup has surrendered to Copenhagen Police. The police communicated that the suspect is expected to face a court hearing. There’s no immediate report on the suspect’s age. Previously, police were searching for a 19-year-old connected to the institution, believed to be the perpetrator, urging him to come forward. The assaulted 20-year-old is currently stable after suffering knife wounds to his arm and back. The circumstances leading up to the incident are still being investigated, with initial reports suggesting a discussion escalated into a physical altercation. The Forberedende Grunduddannelse (FGU) aims to prepare young people under 25 who are not in education or employment for further education or work.
