Kristeligt Dagblad: Great for the West, difficult for the Syrians

In the Middle East, the past day’s dramatic upheavals in Syria are exceptionally good news for the West. But even though it has distanced itself from its origins in al-Qaeda, there is no reason at all to believe that the Islamist militia Hayat Tahrir al-Sham will do anything good for the Syrians.
