Police investigate fire at Novo Nordisk
Novo Nordisk’s facilities have experienced several fires recently. On Tuesday, a fire broke out in a Novo Nordisk building in Bagsværd near Copenhagen. The cause of the fire is still undetermined, as the Copenhagen Westend Police’s investigation is ongoing. There is no indication of criminal activity at this moment, according to the police. The fire affected a rented office building at Krogshøjvej in Bagsværd. On May 22nd, a separate fire started outside a building on Smørmosevej, soon reaching an office building. A week before that, a fire at a Novo Nordisk construction site in Kalundborg generated smoke visible from 30 kilometers away. MedWatch reported that two handymen without Danish work permits could have caused the Kalundborg fire. Novo Nordisk previously stated they don’t believe there is a criminal background to the fires at the company.
