Danish IT giant reports higher-than-expected profit

Danish IT company Netcompany has reported an operating profit of 247.1 million DKK for the first quarter, surpassing analyst expectations of 236 million DKK, as disclosed in its quarterly financial statement. However, Netcompany’s revenue of 1598.1 million DKK slightly missed the expected 1608 million DKK. Despite this, CEO André Rogaczewski affirms the company’s outlook, maintaining growth projections of 7-10% for 2024. The results and promising developments in various platforms and products leave the company confident in meeting its financial targets for 2024, said the CEO. In 2023, Netcompany earned 304 million DKK. Recently, they were targeted by a cyberattack by a group claiming to be Zyndicate, leading to a theft of data and a drop in stock price. A 34-year-old man has been arrested and his detention was extended in connection to the incident.
