Denmark condemns Israeli ban on UN agency

The ban has been called ‘scandalous’ by UNRWA’s spokesperson and a ‘disaster’ by Amnesty International’s Denmark secretary-general, with fears it could set Gaza back 70 years due to poverty, hunger, and infrastructure destruction. Israel accuses UNRWA of connections to terrorist activities, alleging that some employees were involved in a recent attack by Hamas.
