German train drivers have announced a nationwide strike from Wednesday to Friday. The strike comes after wage negotiations between the train drivers’ union GDL and the state-owned company Deutsche Bahn broke down, the union said on Sunday, according to AFP. The union believes that Deutsche Bahn has failed to present a wage offer that was good enough to be used as a basis for wage negotiations. /ritzau/
