Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was received by a military honour guard on Sunday as he arrived at the Chancellor’s Office in Berlin where he met with Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The Ukrainian leader had previously held talks with German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier in his first visit to Germany since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last February. The visit to the German capital is one of several by the Ukrainian president to bolster Western support for Ukraine. Germany this weekend launched its largest military support package to date for Ukraine. The package includes military equipment worth 2.7 billion euros – more than 20 billion kroner. /ritzau/Reuters
