Govt. presents budget proposal Thursday

Well-known themes in the form of the green transition, welfare and health are among the priorities for the government in next year’s budget, Finance Minister Nicolai Wammen  said in a written comment to Ritzau. “The Danish economy is strong, and inflation is fortunately coming down. This means that we can now invest in future growth and welfare so that Denmark becomes even stronger. Therefore, we plan to spend a little more money this year, and we prioritize it sensibly in core areas such as climate, welfare and health, including psychiatry,” says Nicolai Wammen.  At a press conference today, the SVM government presents its overall budget proposal. /ritzau/
