Hizb-ut-Tahrir member charged

A member of the Islamist organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir has been charged with condoning terrorist acts, according to the newspaper B.T. According to the media, a letter from Copenhagen Police says that the individual will be questioned in connection with two speeches he made at Hizb ut-Tahrir demonstrations in Nørrebro in Copenhagen in October about the conflict in Israel and Gaza. Two other people have already been charged with condoning terror after more than 100 demonstrations have been held in Denmark since the conflict between Hamas and Israel broke out on October 7. /ritzau/
