Eleven hikers have been found dead after the Marapi volcano in Indonesia erupted on Sunday, local rescue worker Abdul Malik told AFP Monday. Twenty-six hikers were reported missing earlier in the day. Of those, according to the rescue worker, 14 have been found, including 11 dead. The other three were found alive. Marapi, a volcano in the western part of Sumatra, erupted on Sunday, sending ash 3,000 meters into the air. The 11 were found dead near the crater on Monday morning. The three found alive were weak and had burns, according to Malik. /ritzau/AFP/
