Mette Frederiksen gave a speech devoid of vision in the climate area: The Prime Minister and the government claim that its raison d’être is to solve the most difficult problems and make unpopular decisions. Frederiksen’s opening speech was not marked by this. We are entering a political autumn, which includes the battle over the CO₂ tax on agriculture. It is disappointing that the Prime Minister delivered a speech without visions for the climate and a unifying green narrative about Denmark.
