Pottery fragments or Parthenon: National, international and museum power games quickly kick in when it comes to the Parthenon friezes. Also in Denmark. But the Greeks’ desire for Parthenon fragments cannot be dismissed with a fear that our entire collection of antiquities will be eroded. The Parthenon is something special, a unique monument of world history, where it is still possible in our time to assemble the remaining parts. Denmark should contribute to this.
