Jewellery company goes into liquidation

In 1989, Danish jewellery designer Jane Kønig opened her first store in central Copenhagen. But some 35 years later, it’s over – at least temporarily. The company behind the Danish jewellery brand named after its founder has gone bankrupt, according to Finans. According to curator Jacob Smith, work is underway to sell the brand and the company. Currently, Jane Kønig has been selling her handmade jewellery through two flagship stores, a global workshop and through selected retailers in Europe. /ritzau/
