For now, the world is waiting to see how far Israel will go in Gaza. President Biden has given Israel a free hand to defeat Hamas. But the accompanying political and humanitarian price will be borne by Israel alone. Arab leaders did themselves another disservice when they cancelled a planned meeting with President Biden.
