The great hypocrisy about Danes’ pensions: On the surface, the pension industry is busy explaining that it strives for the highest standards. The climate organisation “Responsible Future’s” investigation reveals a practice that, at worst, is downright fraudulent towards the customers that pension companies live on. This happens when pension companies don’t pursue climate-positive initiatives. We should demand more. It is always, and without exception, a responsibility that must be taken seriously by the financiers who make their living by managing other people’s money.
