Kfar Yuval

Two Israeli civilians died Sunday after an anti-tank missile hit a house near the border with Lebanon, according to AFP. Local authorities said the missile came from Lebanon. Meanwhile, concerns remain about the highly tense situation on the border, where there have recently been almost daily exchanges of gunfire between Israel and Hezbollah. The two dead in Sunday’s attack are a mother and her son. Earlier on Sunday, the Israeli army said her son had died, and later on Sunday, local authorities said the mother had also died following the incident, which took place in the small border town of Kfar Yuval. The Hezbollah movement is based in Lebanon and is allied with the Palestinian militant group Hamas. /ritzau/
