Kidnapped children found
According to the Hamburg prosecutor’s office, the two children who were forced into two cars in Gråsten on New Year’s Eve are with their mother, a spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office said. “Right now, there is no indication that the children are in danger,” the spokesperson said. In a press release, the South and South Jutland Police also wrote Tuesday that it is German police’s view that the children are with their mother and are not in danger. “The South and South Jutland Police are working to ensure that the children are safe and sound and continue to investigate the case in relation to both violence and deprivation of liberty,” the police write. The two cars that drove from the crime scene in Gråsten have been found in Germany by German police, according to the South and South Jutland Police, who have therefore cancelled their search for the cars. /ritzau/
