Late news: The South Korean island of Yeonpyeong, close to the coast of North Korea, has been ordered evacuated due to reports of a North Korean “provocation” near the island, according to a number of media outlets, including Reuters and Yonhap. Due to the island’s location close to the North Korean border, the South Korean military has soldiers and military equipment on the island.
