In the Church of Denmark, there is a growing tendency to send complaints over the heads of deans and bishops. It is an expression of a frustration that will hardly go away on its own. The Church of Denmark must get used to a form of leadership that cannot rest on the same authority as before, where many would toe the line once the bishop had spoken.
