Hamas leader Saleh al-Arouri was buried in the Shatila camp in Lebanon’s capital Beirut on Thursday, according to Reuters. Arouri, who was killed in a drone strike on Tuesday, was laid to rest to the sound of gunfire. His coffin was wrapped in a Palestine flag and was carried by men in green caps with “Hamas” written on the front. Two other Palestinian men who were also killed in the attack were buried at the same time as al-Arouri at Shatila’s Martyrs Burial Ground. /ritzau/
