At least ten people have lost their lives in a plane crash in Malaysia when a small plane with eight people on board crashed on a street in the state of Selangor, hitting two people in traffic. “Two people in traffic, one in a car and one on a motorcycle, were killed, as were the eight people on the plane,” said Mohamad Iqbal Ibrahim, the local police chief. Two on board the aircraft were part of the crew, while the remaining six were passengers. The plane was en route from the Malaysian island of Langkawi to an airport west of the country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. The reason for the crash was not immediately clear. /ritzau/
