Ten people have died and nine were injured after a shooting in the city of Ensenada in northern Mexico. The shooting targeted a group of rally drivers participating in a race. Rally participants were parked next to a highway when a group of men got out of a grey van and attacked them with firearms. The shooting took place on Saturday around 14:18 local time (Ed: 23:18 CET).. Baja California has been severely affected by violence linked to drug cartels, and it is among the Mexican states with the most homicides. The government believes that the majority of killings occur as a result of violence between criminal gangs. According to AFP, there have been 721 record
