Mogensen due for ISS takeoff Friday

NASA reports Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen’s “Dragon” rocket ready for launch after some delays. “It was a good review today of the Falcon 9 rocket and the Dragon spacecraft. We also talked about the crew and status of the space station, and at the end of the review, we all voted ‘go,'” said Ken Bowersox, administrator at Nasa’s Space Operations Mission Directorate, on Tuesday, according to Videnskab.dk. The crew with the Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen is scheduled to be launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday 25 August at 9:49 in the morning Danish time. 20 hours later, Mogensen will be on board the ISS, where his six-month space mission begins. /ritzau/
