New survey: Danes’ trust in politicians has fallen
Only one in four Danes believe that the Folketing and the government are capable of solving society’s major problems, according to an article in daily Information. Danes’ confidence in elected politicians is going downhill, according to a new survey from the think tank INVI – Institute for Wild Problems, conducted by Epinion. In the survey, a representative sample of Danes were asked about their trust in politicians, to which 22 percent said they had “very little” confidence in them. In comparison, ten percent of Danes in the 2019 Election Survey answered that they had “very little” confidence. The survey also shows that 35 percent answered that they have “rather little” confidence, while five percent answer “don’t know.” The categories ‘very’ and ‘quite high’ trust have been combined in the analysis, with a total of 39 percent of the participants ticking the boxes. In the 2019 survey, 50 percent had answered one of the two categories “very” and “quite highly” trust in politicians./Information/
