Norwegian F-16s to Denmark
Two Norwegian F-16s are being sent to Denmark to be used to train Ukrainian pilots, the Norwegian news agency NTB has reported. Norway is also to provide up to ten instructors. The planes will be sent to Skrydstrup Air Base. In December, it was announced that the first Ukrainian pilots were now training to fly F-16 fighter jets in Denmark. They began after completing basic training in Britain with the British Royal Air Force (RAF). Norwegian public broadcaster NRK has learnt that Norway will donate between five and ten F-16s to Ukraine. /ritzau/
