Gunmen killed nine people and wounded 15 when they attacked a gold mine in Peru with explosives and took hostages, Peru’s interior ministry said late Saturday. Police have arrested seven people and seized weapons. The ministry sent special forces to supplement the local police in the area. The attackers entered the mine shaft using explosive charges and took four people hostage. /ritzau/
