Port Ìlein uisge beatha* search
The Central and West Zealand Police are currently searching for a crime scene where expensive bottles of Port Ellen Scottish single malt whiskey have been stolen from, the police wrote in a press release. The police are not in possession of the bottles, but have a picture of six bottles taken in November by a man suspected of robbery. The Eastern European man is in custody during the investigation of a major robbery case in which the image of the six bottles is part of the investigation. The labels of the whisky bottles contain unique numbers, and the collection represents a major value, as a single bottle can have a value of up to some USD4300, according to Wine-Searcher. It is believed by police that the bottles were stolen before mid-November 2022. * Port Ellen Whiskey in Scottish Gaelic. /ritzau/
