Royal Court personnel changes
The current Crown Prince’s Head of Court, Christian Schønau, will take over the position as Royal Family Court Marshal as of January 14. Christian Schønau takes over from Kim Kristensen, who has held the position of Royal Family Court Marshal since 2021.
Kim Kristensen will continue in a position as Head of Court in the newly established Her Majesty Queen Margrethe’s Court.
At the same time, Henning Fode, Cabinet Secretary, is resigning after 16 years of service.
The post of Cabinet Secretary will not be refilled, and the duties of Cabinet Secretary will henceforth be performed by the Court Marshal.
The Royal Danish House Master of Ceremonies, Lasse Harkjær, will step down from his current position on March 1 to take up the position as Chief of Staff at Her Majesty Queen Margrethe’s Court.
The new Master of Ceremonies will from March 1 be Flotilla Admiral Anders Friis. He comes from a senior position in the Danish Defence Command. /ritzau/
